A Weekend Designed for Home, Garden, and Outdoor Living

The Spring Home & Garden Show is designed to help homeowners explore ideas, ask questions, and make informed decisions in one place. Throughout the show floor, visitors can connect with professionals offering insight into home updates, renovations, and seasonal improvements, while also gathering inspiration for outdoor living.

Rather than focusing on a single project type, the show brings together a wide mix of exhibitors and experiences, making it easy to compare options, discover new ideas, and plan next steps at your own pace.

Big Bloom Plant Sale and Gardening Expertise

Garden-focused features are a highlight of this year’s spring show. The Big Bloom Plant Sale spans 5,000 square feet and showcases Texas-friendly, low-water landscape plants selected to thrive in the Coastal Bend. Visitors can browse palms, adenia plants, and other greenery while finding inspiration for spring planting projects.

Nueces County Master Gardeners will also be on-site throughout the weekend to share expert advice. Guests can ask questions, learn practical gardening tips, and gain guidance on plant care and landscaping suited to local conditions.

Cooking Demos, Classes, and Interactive Experiences

Food and cooking take center stage with a variety of demonstrations and hands-on classes. Kayla Butts will host in-booth cooking demonstrations on Saturday, sharing approachable techniques for using seasonal ingredients throughout the year. Justin Butts will also lead a free, interactive workshop focused on growing productive, chemical-free tomatoes at home.

Special Guests: Kayla & Justin Butts, Cooking & Gardening Educators

Guests can register in advance for hands-on classes, including kids cooking sessions with Cabana Pantry and a Bundt cake decorating class led by Nauti T’s Creations for ages 16 and up. Space is limited for these experiences, and advance registration is encouraged.

Family Activities and Daily Giveaways

Families can enjoy the Kid Zone, which features free make-and-take crafts, creative projects, and hands-on activities throughout the weekend. Pet adoptions and a blood drive hosted by the Coastal Bend Blood Center add to the community-focused atmosphere.

Daily giveaways are also part of the experience. Each day, the first 100 attendees will receive a free Home Depot bucket while supplies last.
