The 2nd Annual Ellis County Home & Garden Show returns January 24–25, 2026, at the Waxahachie Civic Center, offering two full days of home and garden inspiration for homeowners across Ellis County and surrounding areas. Designed to help visitors plan, refresh, and improve their spaces, the show brings together trusted professionals, interactive features, and family-friendly experiences in one convenient setting.

Learn from Gardening and Home Experts
Educational programming is a key part of the weekend, with expert-led seminars focused on gardening, landscaping, and sustainable home practices. A highlight of this year’s show is a special appearance by Howard Garrett, known as the Dirt Doctor, who will present seminars on natural organic gardening and trees on Saturday at noon and 2pm.
Hands-On Experiences, Tastings, and Family Fun
The show also features interactive experiences designed for all ages. Adults can enjoy wine tastings hosted by Sweet Taste of Paradise Winery or take part in the free Plant and Sip Terrarium Make and Take class, a hands-on activity open to guests 21 and older with advance registration.
Families are encouraged to bring children along to enjoy the Kids Zone, which includes free DIY birdhouse crafts, mini coloring books, and participate in Cookie Decorating with Dazore open to all age groups (pre-register HERE) plus other creative activities available throughout the weekend.
