Grace Mitchell, of HGTV's "One of a Kind"

Special Guests

The host of One of a Kind on HGTV, Grace Mitchell is the designer behind A Storied Style. In 2012, a few years after launching her website, (when she had four children under the age of three), Grace began writing for interior and lifestyle magazines such as Domino and Better Homes & Gardens, and working with major brands showcasing their products and styling spaces. She pivoted to working with clients, a job she loves, to create beautiful interiors, all of which told the story of the homeowners living inside.

These designs are “a history of sorts,” she states, adding, “you can often find me on the hunt for incredible antique and vintage furniture, always searching for that special one-of-a-kind piece to be the focal point of a space.”

Because of her years of experience renovating her own 100-year old home, and also her professional work, Grace has learned where to spend, where to salvage and redo, where to dream, and where to be practical.

In each episode of One of a Kind, Grace and her team listen to homeowner’s stories to create unique and special designs that reflect their personalities, family history and passions. Her amazing renovations delight and nurture each family in a personal way.

Grace and her husband live in Fort Worth Texas with their four children.

KonMari Organization

Sue Yaghi, KonMari™ Certified Organizing Consultant

Special Guests

Sue has spent over 18 years developing creative and beautiful interiors for homes around the world. Her main focus over that period has always been on designing spaces with a serene, calm, and clutter-free sensibility. She finds that people are able to find their best sense of self when their homes are not overloaded with unnecessary clutter.

Sue’s passion for organized living led her to the first Marie Kondo book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” in 2017, when she began her long journey to becoming the first certified KonMari Method™ practitioner in the Dallas Fort-Worth area. Her dream is to bring joy back into people’s homes through professional organizing services.

Don’t miss this life-changing experience.

Sue is particularly excited to bring a unique background to professional organizing in Dallas—combining her years of interior design experience with her KonMari™ certification. Like a kaleidoscope, this unique combination allows her to view each project from multiple vantage points. Watching clients react to their new organized homes and the happiness in their eyes after they complete their work—organizing plus design—is what truly sparks joy for her.

Traveling around the world is her biggest passion and has given Sue the opportunity to experience different cultures as well as unique architectural designs. In fact, Sue designs & de-clutters homes while vacationing in some of the 27 countries she’s visited. On a personal note, she’s a mother of three wonderful daughters and a tennis enthusiast who has been fortunate to meet the most amazing people on the courts.
